We were founded on July 4 2018. The Idea came up for recycling bottle caps and using the money to promote the good that police do. In 2019 we also added on doing scrap metal drives to better serve communities. We use this money to help fund our mission to Help End the Divide between Citizens and Police.
At Caps 4 Cops, we take the money from recycled bottle caps, and use it for community programs and to reward police officers who are going above and beyond the demands of the badge. Over 99% of cops are GOOD people doing GOOD things, and we want to show them that they are still loved by their communities.

The Blue Family Tree is a National 501 (c) 3 that supports those effected by line of duty death through financial gifts, maintaining law enforcement connections, and education.
At the end of each calendar year, The Blue Family Tree evenly divides all contributions to families of every officer who met the criteria for recognition on Officer Down Memorial Page.As an ongoing contribution to those who have lost a family member in the line of duty, The Blue Family Tree Board of Directors funds things the missing family member might have paid for had they been there themselves, such as weddings, honeymoons, first cars, etc. This program is extended to officers who passed outside of the line of duty as well.
