We were founded on July 4 2018. The Idea came up for recycling bottle caps and using the money to promote the good that police do. In 2019 we also added on doing scrap metal drives to better serve communities. We use this money to help fund our mission to Help End the Divide between Citizens and Police.
At Caps 4 Cops, we take the money from recycled bottle caps, and use it for community programs and to reward police officers who are going above and beyond the demands of the badge. Over 99% of cops are GOOD people doing GOOD things, and we want to show them that they are still loved by their communities.
Our Mission is simple- Help End the Divide Between Citizens and Police. We do this by showing the world amazing officers who care about their job and their community. We help showcase amazing work that people do in the Law Enforcement Field and we help Police Dept. with ways to interact with the public and open the lines of communications. We have awarded 2 K9 depts. Cruiser fans to protect their Dogs. We also Help sponsor several Coffee with a cops . We get the funding from this Thru Recycling Bottle Caps and Scrap Metal.. MORE AMAZING THINGS TO COME...
In Vermont Spring 2021- We recycled 7 TONS of scrap metal. We in turn launched a program called - HELMETS FROM HEROES. We wanted to be different and be Proactive. It would allow an officer, to stop and make contact with a child or young adult NOT wearing a Helmet. Make that one on one connection, Make sure they were safe and give them a Helmet FREE of Charge.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
